Toxic Tournament

Toxic Tournament is a side project I had with a colleague. I love fighting games, and she loved retro things, our minds aligned and decided to make a retro arcade fighting game with cartoonish designs.
Responsibilities
For this side project I led a team of five people to create a fighting game. I was involved in designing character moves with an animator, general game mechanics with two coders, and level building with an artist.
I was also in charge of implementing every new mechanics, animations, sprites and moveset into the engine.
This exeprience, even though short and sporadic taught me how to handle a team, but also and most importantly how to plan a project, prioritize tasks to deliver the minimum viable product in time.
