Unannounced Project
I worked on an unannounced 3rd person action game from Black Forest Games. I was part of the pre-production of this project as a Mission Designer.
Responsibilities
I was part of a small, multi departmental team with the goal of doing the concept, the design, and the prototype of missions.
I started as a member of that team, but gradually evolved into leading it for some time as well. It allowed me to hone my communication skills, and taught me how to drive a team and unify it behind a common goal.
I also spent a lot of time prototyping new ideas of gameplay mechanics, upgrades, and mission gimmicks ideas. That love and ease at prototyping is what makes me a valuable asset of any team. I allowed the team to show ideas way quicker than other teams, and it was easier to get the points across.
With a like minded colleague, I was behind what was known internally as one of the coolest mission in the game. We used some free time to prototype it and the whole studio loved it at first sight.
